Santa brought this barbi house to our 4 yr old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy and the furniture is really great too. I know it will last a long time.
I bought this for my daughter in the spring and it is wonderful. At the time I thought it was a real bargain — and now I see that the price has actually doubled since April. Potential buyers may want to check with Amazon that this is right.
Only thing is …. it is HUGE. Make sure the space you have in mind will accommodate it with 3-4 feet of play space in front. My daughter loves it but it has to live in our foyer instead of her room. So now she has asked for a small doll house, too!

The quality is excellent and the detail is wonderful. I can’t recommend this highly enough. Despite a room full of presents, at the end of the day the girls spent all thier time playing with the doll house.

The pieces are very elegant and realistic and i love the fact that you can close the dollhouse to hide the mess! the description says that it is 49 inches tall but the instructions and product information says that it is 54 inches. I loved my daughters reaction when she saw her new dollhouse and was in awe of how big it was compared to her! Awesome!
