We’ve always liked Plan Toys and their line of environmentally friendly, ethically manufactured toys. So, it was no big shock when the new Eco Home showed up this year. In addition to being an awesome little play house, also models earth-friendly living with solar panels, a living roof, rain barrel, and turning wind turbine. The Eco Home is constructed of wood, the set includes all the furniture pictured, enough to decorate two rooms, people, and the environmentally friendly “Segway.”

   This dollhouse is a nice little expansion piece for a train/road/animal adventures. It also frequently becomes a school/library/grocery store. It is sized to fit the Plan City people. Very sturdy and comes with furniture, again sized for the Plan City people. This is smaller and easier to store than the parking garage. It gets a lot of play.

   We are enjoying this dollhouse. Please note that it does come with some furniture, but the other plan toys doll house furniture (sold separately) seem too large to fit this house– it is part of the road and rail set (versus a full size dollhouse) and is sized to those items.

   For the price, the size was what I should have expected but it seemed small in a 3 year old hands. I couldn’t help but love all the eco touches! Now that we’ve added a BIG doll house, maybe this will be the vacation cabin for the doll family.

   This is a very sturdy little wood house. I also have the Plan Toys roadway and airport, and they all fit along together very well. The roadway and airport have held up well for several years now, and I expect the same from this house.
