I bought this for my daughters birthday and she loves it! The castle is made of nice solid wood with no plastic parts. It fold out for access to the inside. Its not so big that it takes up to much room but it not a small castle either. I would recommend this for anyone with a little princess in the house.
We have had this castle for two weeks now, and it has been played with every single day! My 2 and 4 year olds absolutely love it. So do I, as I have joined in! It is beautiful, sturdy, and lots of fun. I took the advice of previous reviewers and added the playmobil figures – what a great idea! We haven’t bought any furniture for it yet, but my kids don’t seem to care at all. I am considering the melissa and doug furniture or possibly some playmobil sets to add on to the castle at some point. We originally had this castle on a table, but it now rests on the carpeted floor so the kids have more access to all the little rooms. It slides beautifully on the carpet (a berber) without any damage to itself or the carpeting. This castle is one of the best purchases I have made for my kids. We will gets tons of use out of it for years to come I am sure!
I purchased this castle for my daughter’s 4th birthday. Today she is 5 and this is the only toy she remembers getting last year. She has played with this beautiful castle nearly every day since then and it still looks brand new. One of her favorie movies is Quest for Camelot, so I purchased Papo and Schleich figurines to resemble the characters in the story. I also purchased a dragon, a few bad guys and some lovely glittery princesses. I converted my older son’s unused train table into the castle platform and she keeps her accessories in the side drawers. It is so fun to watch her play with this castle and I am very pleased with this purchase.
I was so happy to see how beautiful this wooden castle is! The castle is very sturdy, yet light for my daughter to carry around, it does not have a latch to close the castle, but it is a great buy for your lil princess!! I love it and wish they made this when I was little. My daughter plays with it all the time!
I bought this toy for my four year old daughter’s birthday because the reviews were so good. Although it’s cute, and there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s rarely ever played with. We bought the coordinating furniture set and royal family…but, they sit too. As it turns out, my daughter seems to prefer the Little People Barn we got for her two year old brother. Maybe it’s just not a good fit for my daughter, but I’m pretty disappointed that we spent so much on a toy that just sits there looking pretty.
