Cabbage Patch Kids were a huge hit back in the 1980’s. They were in huge demand and millions of them were sold. Almost every little girl in North America had one. The earlier ones even became collector’s items and were (and are) worth quite a bit of money. However, since so many were sold there aren’t very many that are worth much.
You can still find these dolls around and now that the women who grew up in the 80’s are having children, they are passing down their favorite Cabbage Patch dolls. Because of this I’ve seen an increase in demand for clothing for these dolls. Many of the dolls have held up over the years, but their clothing has either become stained or worn and needs to be replaced.
This is where I come in. I’ve made hundreds of unique pieces of clothing for Cabbage Patch Kids over the years. You can email me or come down to the Sunday Farmer’s Market to see them in person. If you have something in mind that you would like me to make, please let me know. I’d be happy to accommodate you or let you know if I can make it.
